Hittills har ambulanssjukvårdarna som kör patienter med covid-19-symtom fått sanera bilarna själva på akutmottagningen – ett slitsamt och tidsödande arbete.

Nu har en saneringsfirma tagit över uppgiften och saneringsstationer har byggts upp vid fem akutsjukhus.

"Vi kommer ut till samhället mycket snabbare", säger ambulanssjukvårdaren Leif Rydell på Södersjukhuset.
