Nu har regeringen lagt en proposition om en ny lag med brottsrubricering, ”sabotage mot blåljusverksamhet”. Fängelsestraffet föreslås bli upp till fyra år. 

Straffet kan ges den som angriper eller stör ambulans, räddningstjänst eller polis för att hindra eller försvåra deras verksamhet.

Den som, utöver det, dessutom framkallar fara för människoliv, för egendom med särskild betydelse eller gör något av särskilt farlig art, kan dömas för ”grovt sabotage mot blåljusverksamhet”. Då med en straffskala på mellan lägst två år och högst 18 år i fängelse, enligt propositionen.
