Ivo öppnar ett tillsynsärende efter att en patient, som nekats ambulans, senare avlidit av en läkemedelsöverdos.

Enligt en lex Maria-anmälan till Inspektionen för vård och omsorg, Ivo, kontaktades SOS Alarm av en vän till patienten. Vännen uppgav att patienten tagit en överdos läkemedel. Ambulansbesättningen på plats bedömde dock att patienten inte var i behov av vård.

19 timmar senare hittades patienten avliden i sitt hem, enligt anmälan ”… av en överdos av läkemedlet ifråga”.
