När en tvåårig flicka i Kungsbackaområdet i början av april insjuknade allvarligt var en ambulansenhet i Varberg den närmaste ambulansen som kunde ta uppdraget, som hade högsta prioritet.

Framkörningstiden på 30 minuter var för lång för ett blåljusuppdrag. "Nu hade vi tur men nästa gång kanske vi inte har det", skriver ambulanspersonalen i en avvikelserapport från Region Halland.
