I fortsättningen får man ingen hjälp på akuten i Ystad om man bryter benet.
Istället måste man åka till Kristianstad med ambulans. Detta är resultatet av den senaste vårdbesparingen.

Bakgrunden till detta är att fler sökt akutvård på lasarettet i Ystad de senaste åren än vad man budgeterat för. Inom det närmsta halvåret måste man därför spara 50 miljoner kronor.

Därmed flyttas all akutortopedi till Centralsjukhuset i Kristianstad, och patienter med akuta frakturer i Ystad körs alltså i ambulans till Kristianstad.

I första hand hoppas man lösa personalneddragningen med pensioner och vikariat som inte förlängs.
