Tre människor har dödats och många skadats i en jättekrock på E 4 nordöst om Helsingborg. Minst ett femtiotal fordon krockade enligt polisen med varandra i halka och dimma.
Många satt fast i bilarna.

Olyckan inträffade vid elvatiden på Tranarpsbron mellan Åstorp och Östra Ljungby. Utmed motorvägen rådde svår halka och tät dimma.

Enligt Skånepolisens informatör Cindy Schönström-Larsson har polisen räknat antalet fordon, tunga och lätta, som smällt in i varandra till ett 50-tal. Räddningstjänsten Skåne Nordväst talade strax innan om hundratalet fordon, lika många lastbilar och långtradare som personbilar.
